Dear AMPS parents,
We are very excited to announce, that Aston Manor Primary, will be presenting our very first Art Gala Evening, on Thursday 20th October.
This evening is a very prestigious evening, where we will be displaying, the top art, from our Gr1-7 learners, for the year 2016. In addition to that, we will also have 1 artwork piece, from every learner in our school, displayed for your viewing pleasure. Anybody is welcome to attend our Art Gala.
Tickets will be sold @ R50 per entrance, and will include a glass of juice, two savoury treats (1 x Chicken Pastry & 1 x Filled Cheese Scone) and two sweet treats (1 x Mini Lemon Meringue Tart & 1 x Caramel Horn), to enjoy whilst viewing the beautiful works of art.
Please note that tickets will be sold on a pre-order basis. The cut off date for ordering tickets is Monday morning, 17th October, at 10:00, because the food needs to be ordered in advance. To purchase a ticket, you can send the money for the amount of tickets you would like to purchase to your child’s register class teacher. Tickets for the evening will be handed to the children who ordered, on Wednesday 19th October.
“Purchase Stickers” can also be purchased at the door, for a donation of your choice, for you to place on any of your child’s artworks. All items purchased, will be given to the children to take home the next day, after the Art Gala Evening. Please note that this is a school fundraiser and all funds will go towards improving our school.
You are welcome to join us, at any time, between the hours of 16:00 and 20:00. Please note that the Gala Evening Ends at 20:00.
