1. AMPS encourages participation in sport to cultivate a good and positive attitude in all our learners.
2. The School requires that preference be given to School sports before club participation.
3. Learners selected to participate in any sports activity for the School, as a representative of the School or on behalf of their houses, must be clothed in the manner prescribed by in the Code before, during and after participation in any such activity.





Learners reporting for participation in any sports activity, referred to above, must be neat and tidy in appearance.  In particular, the prescribed clothing must be clean and ironed, socks must be pulled up and shirts/jerseys/blouses/vests must be tucked in.

Loyalty to the School and fellow participants is required of all learners selected to participate in any of the abovementioned sports activities.  In particular, participants are required to report punctually at venues selected for the activity concerned or the venue chosen as a departure point for travelling to the sports venue.  Absence from an activity for which a learner has been selected to represent the School or his house will be condoned only if a note is handed to the Sports Coach before or within 3 days after the activity concerned.
