Yesterday, our Grade R to Grade 4 learners were treated to a wonderful performance of Mr Hare Meets Mr Mandela by Ticket to the Moon Youth Theatre. It was an engaging, educational and fun-filled experience that had our learners captivated from start to finish. Thank you for bringing this inspiring story to life!

MPS Cross Country officially kicked off the season yesterday afternoon at the first Kempton Park League event, held at Red Socks opposite Barnard Stadium!

Our athletes displayed incredible grit, courage, and determination as they gave their all on the course. We are so proud of their outstanding effort and look forward to an exciting season ahead. Well done to every runner who represented our school with pride!

Our AMPS Mini-Netball teams proudly participated in the Laerskool Edleen Netball Festival this past weekend.

It was a wonderful day filled with teamwork, excitement, learning, and plenty of fun! Every player gave her absolute best on the court, showed great sportsmanship, and gained valuable experience along the way.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our little stars for their enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit!

Tessellation in Action: Grade 6

Learners Transform Patterns into Art

This term, the Trade 6 learners explored the fascinating world of tessellation—the art of covering a surface with repeated shapes without any gaps or overlaps. Using the knowledge they gained about transformations—including translations, rotations, reflections, and enlargements—they created vibrant and visually striking patterns.

From simple geometric designs to more complex, interlocking shapes, the learners showed creativity and mathematical thinking in equal measure. Their understanding of how shapes can move and fit together beautifully came to life through their artworks, which now brighten up our classroom walls.

It was inspiring to see how mathematics can go beyond numbers to become a form of creative expression. Well done, Grade 6s!
