What a fantastic morning at AMPS! Our Marimba and Choir learners came together for an energetic and inspiring bootcamp filled with music, teamwork and plenty of passion.

Our Grade RR–3 learners had a wonderful visit from The Dental Junction, based at Elgin Mall, today! They learned all about the importance of good oral hygiene, caring for their teeth, and keeping those beautiful smiles healthy.

What an incredible, fun-filled day at AMPS! Our Walk-a-Thon and Colour Run brought together our learners, staff and school community for a day filled with laughter, colour, excitement and school spirit!
This exciting event is an important fundraiser for our school, giving our learners the opportunity to have fun while helping us raise funds to support our school community.
MPS Cross Country officially kicked off the season yesterday afternoon at the first Kempton Park League event, held at Red Socks opposite Barnard Stadium!
Our athletes displayed incredible grit, courage, and determination as they gave their all on the course. We are so proud of their outstanding effort and look forward to an exciting season ahead. Well done to every runner who represented our school with pride!

Tessellation in Action: Grade 6
Learners Transform Patterns into Art
This term, the Trade 6 learners explored the fascinating world of tessellation—the art of covering a surface with repeated shapes without any gaps or overlaps. Using the knowledge they gained about transformations—including translations, rotations, reflections, and enlargements—they created vibrant and visually striking patterns.
From simple geometric designs to more complex, interlocking shapes, the learners showed creativity and mathematical thinking in equal measure. Their understanding of how shapes can move and fit together beautifully came to life through their artworks, which now brighten up our classroom walls.
It was inspiring to see how mathematics can go beyond numbers to become a form of creative expression. Well done, Grade 6s!

The school has been working hard in-between all the renovations and school work and are currently busy redoing the Pre-School Bathrooms. Have a look at some of the incredible new artwork 😉
We have also worked hard to give the learners brand new Jungle Jims and nice soft grass to play on!!
