Farewell
Over the years we’ve seen a number of staff make changes in their personal and professional lives. Earlier this year, Miss Chrichton, Mr Badenhorst and Mrs Wilkinson retired. Mrs van Dijk, Miss Landman and Mrs Bell are leaving at the end of this year. These staff have all been valuable members of the AMPS family and we’ll miss them dearly.
Miss Landman has taught at AMPS for two years, but has had to say a fond farewell, as the travelling between Nigel and Kempton Park has just become too much. Mrs van Dijk will be retiring from teaching, owing to personal reasons and has been a staff member for 9 years, we know the children will miss her very much.
Special Mention
Mrs Bell started relief teaching in 1979 and shortly after became a permanent member of the AMPS family – Fast forward 27 years and we can’t say thanks enough to one of the best teachers in the business. Thank you Mrs Bell for your consistent professionalism and hard work! We wish you all the best!
That being said thanks to the management team here at AMPS and Mr Steenkamp at the helm. Aston Manor Primary School continues to employ some of the best teachers in the business and we’re proud to welcome the newer members of staff for 2015 – Miss Kingma, Miss Moore, Miss Okes, Miss Venter and Mr du Plessis.
