Every year AMPS with the drive of Mrs v Dijk (music / arts & culture teacher) get together to collect “presents” for the SPCA. With the help of children parents and staff the school collects money, food, blankets, toys etc which is then handed over to the SPCA in the hopes that it’ll make the animals a little less lonely over the December holidays.
Aston Manor Primary School had their annual Christmas SPCA collection and beat their previous best from last year. We collected more than 1,2 tonnes of dog and cat food as well as animal toys, blankets and money. Jenna Naude, Caeran Henricks, Nathan Short, Cameron Viles, Lucian Voster and Karina Mazari collected the most for the SPCA.
